Not at all! In fact, thanks to our downloadable Word template and the fact that they are a standard 8 1/2 x 11 size when open, tri fold programs are one of the easiest programs to set up and print on your own. Just change the sample wording in the template to your own, then print. It doesn't get much easier than that!

Yes, you can print on both sides of our tri fold paper whether it is made of heavy card stock or lighter text paper - just edit the template accordingly.

Our tri fold program papers are pre-scored (creased) to fold evenly and easily, every time.

Most often, people fold tri fold in traditional brochure fashion - like an accordion, or a "Z", if you prefer. However, some choose to go with a barrel fold, folding the left and right panels into the center. Just note that since all three panels of a tri fold are the same size, when you fold them in barrel fold fashion, you may get a bit of bowing on the sides.

There are quite a few common terms for tri-fold papers - tri folds, three-folds, z-folds, three-panel. All refer to a piece of paper or card stock with three evenly sized folds.

Tri fold papers have a tendency to pop open after folding, especially those made with very heavy card stock. A decorative and practical way to keep them closed is to tie or wrap something around the center such as ribbon, twine, or a paper band.
