Are personalized match boxes and personalized metallic match books printed the same way?
Both the personalized match boxes and metallic match books are printed using foil stamping. Foil is sharp, saturated, and crisp for a nice, quality print on both styles of matches.
Can I order matches in designs other than the ones shown here?
If you have a design/motif in mind other than the ones shown here, get in touch with us. Though we are adding motifs on a regular basis, we still have many motifs available that are not shown at this time.
What is the difference between match boxes and metallic match books?
Both matchboxes and matchbooks are made with premium papers, feature sharp foil stamping, and have the same customization options. The differences between the two are as follows:
- Boxes are available in papers of many different finishes, books are offered only in metallic papers.
- Boxes have wooden match sticks and a side striker. Books have paper matches a striker on the back.
How many matches are in each book?
Each personalized matchbook contains 30 matches.
Can I order fewer than 100 matchbooks?
You must order at least 100 matches, then you can order in increments of 25 after that.
Are these matches made with the same Stardream paper you offer elsewhere on the site, so that everything will match?
Yes, and that is the beauty of these personalized match books - they are made with the same 105lb Stardream card stock that we offer for invitations, programs, place cards, etc. so you can match your wedding stationery to your wedding favors!
How many wooden matches come in a box?
Each box of personalized matches contains approximately 25 matches.
Do I have to get a names, date, and a motif on my match boxes?
You can choose to personalize your match boxes with all three personalization options - one line of text, a date, and a motif, or to personalize with just the ones you want. The choice is yours! However, if you do not want all three personalization options, please make a note of this in customer notes when you place your order.
Do the specialty papers that these match boxes are wrapped in match the specialty papers offered throughout the site?
Yes, and that is one of the best parts of our match boxes! Choose to wrap your matches in metallic papers like Stardream and Curious Metallics, colorful mattes like Pop-Tone paper, and distinguished textures like Savanna Woodgrain. This way, your favors will be made of the same paper as your stationery!
Can I get a custom design printed on my match boxes?
Yes, in most cases, we can accommodate custom art work for match boxes for an additional fee. To place an order for a custom match box, please get in touch with customer service.
Do you have motifs other than the ones shown?
Match box motifs/designs are regularly being added, and we have many more motifs available that are not yet shown on the site. If you have a design in mind that is not shown, get in touch with us. Chances are, we have one like it and can print it for you!
