Are Linen Paper & Cotton Paper The Same
The linen cardstocks we sell at LCI do not contain cotton fibers. To many, the term linen evokes a sense of refinement therefore its common to think that all linen papers are made with 25%, 50% or 100% cotton. Some paper mills do produce a limited collection of writing weight sheets with cotton fibers, but not all. We do sell a premium selection of 100% cotton card stocks and paper.
What To Know About Printing On Linen Textures
Printability of linen paper is quite good. All of the linen card stocks and papers are suitable for offset, thermography and other conventional print methods. Although linen card stock has successfully been printed on both laser and inkjet printers all printers are different, and outside variables such as ink, toner & paper weight may affect results. As with any of our products, samples are recommended.
