I have two questions about the gelly roll blacklight pens
I intend to use these with a spirograph, what is the SIZE of the ballpoint? smaller is better for this BTW
Secondly since the nature of a spirograpgh makes the lines cross over frequently I am concerned about smearing, do you feel it would make crisp lines or tend to smear where the line intersect?

    Hi Gene,

Thank you for your interest in our Gelly Roll Moonlight Pens. The tip of the pen, or ball, measures 1 millimeter.

I tested a couple Moonlight colors on a black matte card, running the pen in a circular motion, making sure to cross the pattern many times. Neither color ran or smeared when I crossed over what I had just drawn. I found the ink quality best when I slowed down my drawing. The ink was crisp and saturated at a slower pace. But when I drew faster, the ink color grew more faint and less saturated.
