Question: I have antique maps that I want to back with an archival acid free backing. Is this product acid free and appropriate for this use?
Answer: Astrolite PC100 is a premium, heavy weight card stock that would work well as a backing. PC100 is not a 100% Cotton Rag but instead is made from wood based pulp. Therefore it is acid free, lignin free and considered Conservation Grade Archival. It will last for over 1,000 years!
