When purchasing blank invitations, are there instructions on how to print them on the computer?

You can print your invitations on your home computer using any page layout software of your choosing. On our website we have detailed instructions on how to print your invitations using Microsoft Word.

What software do I need to print on the A4 response cards? and do they come on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet for easy printing?

Our A4 Response Cards are delivered at actual size. Flat, non folding response cards are 3 1/2 x 4 7/8. Folder response cards measure 4 7/8 x 7 open and are scored to fold to 3 1/2 x 4 7/8. These cards are smaller than the typical 8 1/2 x 11 sheet, therefore, the set up time needed to print out your cards using off the shelf printing software and your home printer is somewhat more involved. However with a little instruction both these sizes can easily be printed using Microsoft Word or any of our Invitation Printing software. Below please find links to help with this process.

Secondly, there are significant differences between ink and paper brands in how they work and how long they take to dry. Thirdly, different ink types yield very different results.

Set the printer for plain paper and normal print quality. Do not have it set for automatic or draft. Try to use as little as possible to achieve the effect you want but enough so it works. It may take a lot less than you think.

What is the best way to print on pre-designed blank invitations?

The first step is to test print on a plain sheet of paper, preferably one that is cut to the size of the designed invitation.
Hold the test sheet behind the LCI Paper design to check the alignment of your layout. Slight adjustments to the layout may be needed.
If the entire printout is only slightly misaligned, adjust the top and/or the left margins slightly if the software being used has this feature.
Once the layout is to your satisfaction, you are ready to use the actual stock for printout.
