What is the proper way to assemble invitations?

Enclosure cards are considered any additional cards other than the actual invitation (response card and envelope, reception card, direction card, etc.). Enclosure cards should be placed on top of the invitation card and together, they should all be inserted into the inner envelope (should one exist.). Traditionally, people have often separated the enclosure cards from the invitation by inserting a piece of tissue on top of the invitation before the enclosures. Once the enclosures with invitation have been placed into the inner envelope, the inner envelope should then be placed with the names facing the back of the outer envelope.
