Feedback From Customers Who Recently Purchased This Item:

StarStarStarStarStar 5/5- Excellent, I'd definitely buy from this seller again.

I am so impressed with this company, particularly my rep Jennifer, that I wrote to the President. There was not one question that wasn't completely answered, there was creativity and brainstorming via email, and when the final products arrived, they were flawless. Excellent value, speedy shipping, great follow-up... if only everyone ran a company like this!

We made our wedding invites on our own and had LCI print them. There were three separate cards and two different envelopes. LCI staff were great to suggest a better combo of envelopes than we had chosen online so that the entire order remained consistent. I believe that Linda, who answered the phone, was helpful more than once. She even took the time to weigh the entire invitation combo for me so I could purchase the correct postage stamps for mailing off the invites. The printing looks fantastic. And printing took less than 48 hours! Many thanks, LCI.

I purchased the lined envelopes for my daughter's wedding invitations and had them printed with the guests' addresses and my return address, as my handwriting is horrendous! I couldn't be more pleased with how beautiful they came out and how quickly they were completed and delivered. The customer service team was super efficient, even sending me email reminders and answering all my questions within 1 day. The video tutorials were very helpful too. Thank you, LCI Paper!

Friendly staff - respond immediately - helpful and patient. Very happy with print, product and result. It's not often you can get a 'live' person to speak with instantaneously.

FAQs - Custom Printed Cards

Ask us a question

Can I supply a custom font?

If you have a font in mind that we do not offer on our list, you can certainly request it. There are two ways to do this:

  • Requesting the font in the Instructions for LCI section at checkout
  • Requesting the font when a member of the printing team sends you a proof

We have access to many fonts that are not listed, but if we do not have the font you would like, simply send it to us.

Can I request a Pantone or CMYK color?

If you would like your envelopes printed in a specific Pantone (PMS) or CMYK color, let us know when you place your order. Again, place your request in Instructions for LCI at checkout, or wait until a printing expert contacts you with a proof of your imprinted envelopes.

Can I supply my own artwork?

To supply a custom design, simply select the radio button next to Upload Custom Graphics.

We will place your graphic on the envelope you have chosen.

Where do I upload custom artwork?

If you chose to upload custom artwork, use the link on the order confirmation page or in the order confirmation email you receive.

Can you print light colors on dark envelopes?

We do not have opaque printing ability, so we can not print light colors on dark envelopes - for example, white ink on black envelopes is not a possibility.

Though we can print in a deep, saturated black, it does not show up on black, dark brown, and navy envelopes.

Will the printing smudge if my envelopes get wet during mailing?

Due to the high end technology they are printed with, your envelopes will not smudge to the touch, or smudge if they get wet during the mailing process.

Where do I find the guest address template file?

If you are taking advantage of our envelope printing service, you can obtain the guest addressing template file in three ways:

  • Download the file from the envelope product page
  • Download the file from the order confirmation page
  • Wait for a member of the printing team to contact you and send it to you

Can I delete the headers in the guest address template?

We kindly ask that you leave the headers in the guest address file template, as they are used to arrange your guests' addresses onto your envelopes.

Will I get to view my envelopes before printing?

Before we print your envelopes, we will send you a proof for your review. We ask that you reply with changes that need to be made, or with your approval.

We will not print your envelopes until we have your approval. We want to make sure you are fully satisfied with the appearance of your envelopes before printing. Proofs also give you one last chance to check for correct names, spelling, and addresses.

If I order more envelopes than I have guest addresses, will I receive the remainder blank?

Since our envelopes are sold in 50s, it often happens that you have more envelopes than you do guest addresses. For example, if you need 80 addressed envelopes, you would need to order 100 envelopes, leaving you 20 unaddressed envelopes. In cases like this, it is customary for us to print just the back flap return address on the extras.

If you would like your additional envelopes to be left blank instead, please request this when you place your order or when you receive your proof.

What is the standard font size on printed envelopes?

The is no one standard or most popular font size for printed envelopes. It depends on the size envelope you are using as well as the style of the font. But don't worry too much about choosing the right font size. When we print your envelopes, we will make sure that your envelopes are legible and that all the text looks proportionate with the envelope. In addition, we will send you a proof before printing so you can be sure you like the way your envelopes look before we print.

How can I avoid long address lines in Guest Addressing?

When you use our Guest Addressing service for your envelopes or place cards, we use your file exactly as it is sent to us. Based on the average length of your guest's names and the selected font we choose an appropriate size font. Sometimes even taking this into account, there are names that run off of one line and into a second line. In this case we will often contact you to see how you would like to deal with this particular address. In order to reduce the back and forth between yourself and our printing department we offer the following suggestions for reducing name line length.

Original Address
Mr. Rick Boucher and Miss Adrianna Clements

Try to split into two lines:
Mr. Rick Boucher
Miss Adrianna Clements

Original Address
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johannesburg and Family

Try something like:
The Raymond Johannesburg Family

How about two lines:
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johannesburg
and Family

Or use children's names on the second line:
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johannesburg
Stephen, Jacqueline and Sean

You could try to replace and with &:
From This: Mr. and Mrs. Rick Boucher and Family
To This: Mr. & Mrs. Rick Boucher & Family

It is also perfectly acceptable to use abbreviations rather than full spelling.
Use Rev. rather than Reverend
Use Dr. rather than Doctor
