Portrait Pocket Invitations

Wanted to ask if there is extra postage to mail the A7 portrait pocket invitations? If I include an invitation, a directions card, response card and envelope would that be heavy? I'm trying to figure out the weight before purchasing

The size of the pocket invitations would not require extra postage when mailed in the USA. The size is standard and the envelopes it fits into are also a standard size. However, if you place enough items inside the pocket to increase the weight over 1 ounce you would be subject to a sur-charge. I would recommend completing a finished invitation piece and bringing it over to your local post office. The piece can be weighed and the postage calculated. Further, it is a good idea to bring your finished invitations to the post office and ask them to hand cancel your invitations. Due to post office cut backs not all offices will enthusiastically hand cancel your invitations, but if you give them enough notice they will usually agree.

I am designing a wedding invitation for a client. She would like this pocket type invite, but I am wondering how far the bottom flap (to make the pocket on the bottom) comes up. Is there enough room for 4 cascading cards? The picture looks deceiving that the flap comes up pretty high not allowing much room for 4 cards to be placed in there (all different height sizes to allow each card to be visible). Any info would be very helpful.

The V of the pocket on our Portrait Pocket Fold Invitations comes up 3 5/16 inches, and the sides come up 4 inches from the bottom. You can see a full diagram of our pocket fold invitations in this article & chart You can use 4 cascading cards heights, their sizes will just depend on how much of each card you want visible.

I want to buy Envelopes and Invitations but I don't know what's the correct size? The first option is the A7 Pocketfold portrait envelope, I want to know if this option needs an exterior envelope (If applicable) if so please let me know what size do I need for it.

Yes you would want to mail your pocket folds in an outer envelope. The appropriate envelope size for the Portrait pocket folds is our A7 - 5 1/4 x 7 1/4 envelopes.
