For the 35th episode of LCI's Podcast, we hear from Nicole Block; founder of The Nic Studio. Nicole is illustrator and designer, specializing in custom stationery, invitations, and commissioned art work. After learning that Nicole recently created a unique promotional piece for her studio using Pop-Tone paper – a brand we very recently started carrying, we reached out to her to learn more. The gregarious Nicole was kind enough to take the time to talk about the history of Nic Studio, her design, and a few of the perks of using Pop-Tone paper.

Great company with even better products! I ordered my paper and envelopes for my wedding invitations and I couldnt be happier! 1/5- Poor, I'd discourage others from this seller.
Sorry, guys, but I have a lot of paper I'll never be able to use. It was not the color I expected, based on the image on my computer, and if that is 100 lb. paper, then I don't know what the stock I've been buying marked 110 lb. is! I could not use it in any of the printers that I have access to--it would not feed because it was too heavy! It might be nice to warn folks that the heavy stock might not feed through their home or small office printers! I'll be making a lot of banana yellow gift boxes or using it as picture matting!

Response from LCI Paper:For the benefit of other visitors we are adding this response to help explain some of your comments. We do our best to create accurate product images, however each computer monitor is calibrated differently therefore what one person sees on screen is not exactly what another will see.
The paper is listed as 100lb / 270gsm card stock, therefore my assumption is that the 110lb paper previously purchased elsewhere is 110 index. There is a huge difference between index and card stock. We have done an informational video that explains how to understand paper weight. Its informative and worth a moment of time to view.
Product description does explain that the paper, although home printable, is quite heavy and may not be suitable for all printers. We suggest ordering samples if there are concerns regarding the papers online. Our staff is only a phone call away and available to answer questions.
