Linen Card Stock - Linen Paper
70lb Text Paper to 100lb Card Stock - Make Invitations, Business Cards With Linen Embossed Papers
Linen paper is embossed, giving it a subtle cloth-like finish. Though the texture is not highly defined, it is present to the eye and the touch. At LCI Paper we sell three types / brands of Linen
- LCI Linen - A traditional linen texture paper with a subtle, embossed cloth-like texture. LCI Linen has a matte finish and is offered in a neutral, traditional white and off white color palette.
- Aspire Petallics Metallic Linen (Linen Metallics) - Featuring the same traditional linen embossed texture, but white a shimmering, mica infused metallic finish. Petallics linen is also offered in a neutral color palette - bright white, ivory, and silver metallics.
- Japanese Linen (JPP Linen) - A heavily embossed, deeply grooved card stock with a funky, modern texture unlike traditional linen. Japanese linen is offered in a rainbow of colors, traditional and non.
The linen cardstocks we sell at LCI do not contain cotton fibers. To many, the term linen evokes a sense of refinement therefore its common to think that all linen papers are made with 25%, 50% or 100% cotton. Some paper mills do produce a limited collection of writing weight sheets with cotton fibers, but not all. We do sell a premium selection of 100% cotton card stocks and paper.
Printability of linen embossed papers is quite good. All of the linen card stocks and papers are suitable for offset, thermography and other conventional print methods. Although linen card stock has successfully been printed on both laser and inkjet printers all printers are different, and outside variables such as the ink or toner cartridges being used and the weight of the linen you are printing may affect results. As with any of our products, samples are recommended. This way, you can show your printer in advance and be confident in the paper you purchase. Samples of all of our papers are available right on the web site, in a variety of sizes, so that you may test what you need.
