Tags Printed With Names, Initials, A Date, and/or Note Are A Quick and Easy Way To Personalize Favor Boxes.
How to Do It:
Print multiple small tags on 8 1/2 x 11 card stock, then cut them out using a paper trimmer. The tags shown in the examples below measure 2 inches square, but you can use any size tag you wish.

Attach Tag with Ribbon or Twine
Punch a hole (or two) in each tag and attach to the box using thin ribbon, twine, or a decorative string of your choice.
Shown Left:
A tag is attached to a Bronze favor box with approximately 24 inches of double face satin ribbon (1/4″ burgundy).
Shown Right:
Two holes were punched in the tag and attached to a Fairway colored favor box using approximately 24 inches of natural colored twine.
Tags & Paper Bands To Personalize Your Favor Boxes
Here, we decorated an Azalea favor box with a thin paper band (Pop-Tone Orange Fizz) and a tag, creating a belt-like affect.
How to do It:
- Cut – 1 1/8 x 11 inch band from 8 1/2 x 11 text weight paper using a paper trimmer
- Wrap band around the bottom of the box bringing two ends to the top
- Adhere overlapping ends on the top using paper glue or double sided tape
- Center and adhere the tag to the top of the band
Here we used a paper band, but a wide satin or chiffon ribbon band looks nice too!

Wrap Your Boxes with a Personalized Paper Band – Print Right On The Band!
How to do It:
To do this, print multiple 1 1/8 x 11 inch bands on 8 1/2 x 11 text weight paper, then cut using a paper trimmer.

A Ruby box is wrapped in approximately 12 inches of black chiffon ribbon and sealed with a Modern Monogram Seal.
Right Box:
A Lapis Lazuli box is wrapped in approximately 32 inches of 1/4″ satin ribbon (red) and sealed with a Fashion Monogram Seal.
