Do you have a template for printing the outer envelopes?
Hi Ashley,
We can certainly point you toward a template for your envelope. For which envelope do you need a template?
Will a 7 1/2 x 7 1/2 envelope be ok for a 6.75 x 6.75 inner envelope?
Hi Erin,
The general guideline is that an outer envelope should be 1/8 of an inch to a 1/4 of an inch larger than its inner envelope. You will find that our Double Wedding Envelope sets adhere to this. Whenever possible, it’s best to use inner and outer envelopes that are made as a set.
If you use a 6 3/4 square envelope as an inner envelope and a 7 1/2 square envelope as an outer envelope, it will not be a true Double Envelope set because the outer envelope will be about 1/2 inch too large. Will the smaller envelope fit inside the larger one? Yes. Will anyone notice that it’s not an ideal fit? They might.
Please feel free to respond back and tell us about your invitation card. What size is it? Perhaps we offer a Double Wedding Envelope set that is a perfect fit.
