Did You Know?...
Faux wax seals evoke the beauty, romance, and elegant taste of traditional wax seals, but are much easier to apply and can be safely sent through the mail! Simply peel the seal off the backing and stick to your invitation envelope.

Do I need to use envelope seals on my envelopes??

Envelope seals can be both practical and decorative, but if you are using an envelope with an adhesive seal already inside of the flap, separate envelope seals are not necessary. To securely close these envelopes, simply use the seal provided.

With the exception of our inner wedding envelopes, all of our envelopes have adhesive inside of the flaps, so separate seals are not necessary. However, if you are mailing just an inner envelope, separate envelope seals are a practical and easy way to secure them closed. Please note: Although our seals firmly adhere, if you are using just a seal to secure your envelopes, we recommend checking with your local post office prior to mailing. In addition, we always recommend asking your local post office to hand cancel your invitations, as it is the best protection against the high speed machinery that may damage your envelopes and invitations.

Are the round envelope seals on a roll or sheet?

Our envelope seals are manufactured in large rolls, but we cut them down and package them in more practical quantities. Each package of 50 envelope seals is a sleeve of 10 sheets, each containing 5 seals. As these sheets are cut down from a roll, they are too thin to run through a printer, so the seals are for decorative use only. If you are interested in blank printable labels, let us know as we may consider adding them to our site.

Is the wax seal the kind you have to melt the wax and use the little tool? Or, is it a seal that just sticks onto the paper?

Our faux wax seals come exactly as they're shown on the site. No melting or tools involved, just peel the small sticker on the back to reveal the sticky area and attach.
