Quick turnaround, great product!
Because of our event we were mailing over 800 invitations. We ordered the first box and it came immediately and even the second time we were surprised how fast everything came. The envelopes came wrapped in clear plastic, clearly marked so we wouldn't get them mixed up and then inside the box they were double wrapped as a whole order. Easy to take out and work with small batches at a time. Product was professional and exactly as we ordered. The team was surprised at the quality on our limited budget.
I received my order on time and correct. LCI has the best selection and quality for wedding Envelopes. I have used them twice now for both of my daughte's weddings one 5 years ago and now for the second wedding.
I am very happy with the envelopes I ordered, they are beautiful and nice quality. If I need envelopes again, I will shop LCI Paper first thing and save myself some trouble.
Love these. I am using them for my wedding invitations, which I customized. I can't wait for all my guest them with the unique envelope liner. What a great quality product. I would for sure think about using LCI again for any of my paper/envelope needs.
I wanted custom wedding invitations (LARGE SQUARES) letterpressed. Alas, there were no matching envelopes until I found them at LCI! These match quite well with Crane's Lettre in ecru. So glad to be able to send my guests traditional double envelope system. Thank you LCI. I will be back for more paper products as the wedding date draws nearer!
It Depends on Size, Shape, and Weight
Using double envelopes does not necessarily mean you will automatically need additional postage. However, the United States Postal Service uses standard shape, size, and weight parameters to determine whether an envelope will require additional postage. Essentially, if the dimensions or weight of your invitation ensembles fall outside of these parameters, then they will cost more to mail.
So, you've got all your wedding invitations together with your new double envelopes, response cards, and any other information or enclosures you'll be sending to your guests. Now how do you put it all together? What follows are some brief guidelines to help you construct a traditional wedding invitation mailing ensemble. These are merely generally accepted methods -- feel free to deviate from them if you want.
What is the etiquette about lined envelopes for weddings?
I always thought the outer envelope was lined and the inner unlined. Your example looks like the opposite. Am I mistaken and is it always done the way your example shows?
I haven't heard of an envelope set where the outer is lined and the inner is unlined. Traditionally, the outer is unlined and gummed and used as a mailing envelope. The recipient can throw away the outer envelope (which has been canceled and possibly beat up by the post office and the different handlers). They're left with a pristine inner envelope that is ungummed and that they can save with the invitation.
How do I pick the right size double envelopes?
Generally, the inner envelope of a double envelope set is 1/8 to 1/4 inch smaller than the outer envelope. This small difference in length and width allows for a the inner envelope to nicely fit inside of the outer envelope without an excessive amount of room in which it can slide around.
Description states 50 pack for the double wedding envelopes, is that 25 each of the inner & outer envelope or 50 each?
Each package of our double wedding envelopes contains 50 outer envelopes & 50 inner envelopes
