    How would you word an invitation if one parent from the bride and the groom are deceased? For example, my mother is deceased, and my fiancee’s father is deceased, but we would like them both mentioned. My father and his mother are both living and would also be mentioned.

    Hi Jill,

    You may want to start the invitation with something like,

    “Together with our parents, we invite you…”

    Then somewhere within the body of the invitation, you can mention that the bride is the daughter of [name] and the late [name]. The groom is the son of [name] and the late [name].
