In this How To video, we’ll show you how to make your own metallic wedding program.
This is a Metallic Specialty Paper Wedding Program made with a shimmery metallic pink cover and a white parchment insert sheet.
The cover is an 8 1/2 x 11 lightweight paper made by Aspire Petalics in our Mountain Rose color. The insert is a translucent European white parchment with a cloudy look that allows the pink to show through.
To print on the cover, we recommend using a laser printer and not an inkjet printer because the metallic finish of the paper doesn’t absorb an inkjet’s ink very well.
The parchment paper can be printed with any home inkjet or laser printer. We’ve printed a single insert for this program, but you can certainly add more insert sheets to your program.
We printed our cover and insert using a Microsoft Word template that you can download from lcipaper.com in the Programs section — look for the Do It Yourself Resources box.
The program is ready to be assembled and the first step is to fold the papers in half. We’ll fold the sheets one at a time, creasing each by hand.
Place the parchment insert inside the cover. That’s it! The program is ready to be handed out to your guests as is.
Tying chiffon ribbon around the program is another way to keep the sheets together while adding a nice embellishment. LCI sells a variety of colors of chiffon and satin ribbon, as well as gold or silver elastic loops. You can also tie the ribbon around the outside of your program.
LCI’s Metallic Specialty Paper Wedding Program is easy to print, easy to assemble, and looks professional! Your guests will be amazed that you created the programs all by yourself.
