Learn how to assemble our Flowering Bronze Pocket Fold Invitation by following these step by step instructions.
Step 1 – Cut Chiyogami Paper:
In each package of 10 kits, you will receive 10 Chiyogami sheets.
- Using scissors or a paper cutter, cut 5 of the sheets as shown below to make the decorative layers for the invitation cards and bands to wrap around the pocket folds.

- Another sheet can be used to cut an additional 5 Chiyogami bands.
You will have some Chiyogami sheets leftover. These could be used to make liners for either the invitation or response envelope (optional).
Step 2 – Glue Chiyogami Layer To Pocket Fold:
Adhere a Chiyogami layer to the invitation (middle) panel of the pocket fold. You can glue or tape the layer using any of the following
- Glue Marker
- Double-sided tape
- Zip Dry
- Ordinary glue stick

Step 3 – Print & Adhere Invitation Card:
This heavyweight, textured card stock may prove difficult to print on some inkjet printers, so be sure to first test a sample.
- When you’ve printed the cards, adhere them to the center of the Chiyogami layer.

Step 4 – Print Response Card:
- Place the printed response card and response envelope in the pocket.

Step 5 – Secure Chiyogami Band Around Pocket Fold:
- Place the 1 1/2 x 11 inch Chiyogami band vertically around the center of the folded pocket fold. Turn the pocket fold over and crease the band at the top and bottom edges.
- Secure the band using glue stick, double-sided tape, or an envelope seal.

Congratulations! You have just assembled your new Flowering Bronze Pocket Fold invitation! The only thing left to consider is whether you should computer print, hand write, or use mailing labels on the envelopes.
