Have you created a unique invitation? Share your creativity!

blog articleThroughout the day, as I’m talking to customers on the phone, they often tell me about unique ways they’re using our products. Yesterday, I spoke to a man who was ordering card stock to use in a custom DVD cover insert, as his invitation is going to be sent out as a CD-ROM that would be housed in a DVD case.

On our shopping site, LCIPaper.com, we’ve created invitation kits that include everything you need to get started with do-it-yourself invitations. Many of our kits are big sellers, but we can only imagine the invitations some of our other customers are creating when they step outside the box and order individual components to create their own unique designs. We’d like to see what you’ve designed and we’d like to present your creativity to our blog readers so that they might be inspired to try to mix and match and create something special and unique.

If you’ve created something unique with our products, we’d love to hear from you, and we’d love to feature your work right here on our blog. Just send me an e-mail (josh@lcipaper.com) and attach a photo of your creation. I will contact you and ask you some followup questions so that I can properly showcase your work. Here are some examples of how your work might be presented:

A Winter Invitation Design: Dark Blue Card Stock, Chiyogami & Vellum Overlay
Sunny Baby Announcement Pochette With Photos
’80s & ’90s Dance Party Invitation

On our blog’s sidebar (look to the right), there is a section called “Share Your Creativity.” Under the small images of unique creative invitations is a link, “Submit Your Design,” with all the information.

So again, we encourage you to share what you’ve done with our readers. You might just inspire someone to create something unique–something they might never have tried if you hadn’t shared your creativity!

I have thought about a DVD invitation though. I think it is really nice to have one especially when there are features that you can put in there that you cannot on a normal traditional paper invitations. I got this idea when I was browsing in http://www.silverscreeninvites.com Silver Screen Invites
