If a formal invitation includes the wording “Carriages at eleven”, what does that mean?
Hi Anita,
“Carriages at Eleven” is just a formal way of saying that the event is over at 11:00.
How do you write 6:30 pm on an invitation? I see the whole hour, but not a half-hours. thanks!
Hi Aurella,
If you’d like to be formal, you can write “half past six in the evening.” If you’d like to be less formal, “6:30 pm” is fine.
